Winter’s Twigs Tipped with Gold is an original etching by Jo Barry. Sunlight reflects off snowy trees in wintertime. Like many of Barry’s etchings, this work was inspired by the New Forest in England, which was once a royal hunting ground for William the Conquerer. Her labor-intensive etchings, which sometimes take up to six months to complete, often feature pastoral scenes of flowers and animals.
