This figurative painting of a wedding couple in shades of black, white, red, pale blue evokes such sadness and longing. Is she already sorry she married him (at what looks to be maybe the VFW or some such)? He certainly looks like he's already over it. This painting is such a conversation piece-the analyzing could just go on and on.
