Franco Pellegrino was born and raised in the Berkshires. He attended the Fine Arts Program at BCC, and continued his studies at the Art Institute of Boston. He studied under David Novak and watercolorist, Jack Flynn. Pellegrino has won numerous awards for his work in the New England area. He has worked on wooden landscape reliefs and hanging constructions, utilizing various mediums such as: tar, plaster, torch-work, metal and textured wrappings. Primarily, Pellegrino is a painter, working on various surfaces including large-scale drawings in mixed media.
